A little about Sasa J

A Little Background (Bio)

Born from a modest Malaysian family, Melissa Wang (Sasa J) is the youngest addition to her family of 3 beautiful girls. She is a brainy little Libra girl and is blessed with height; slightly tan skin and good looks.

Being the youngest in the family has molded this little songstress into a bubbly lighthearted individual who is all woman when she needs to be and all fun when it’s meant to be.

Sasa J loves spending her free time screaming in front of her living room karaoke machine for hours and driving her neighbors nuts. As a young child she was encouraged by her dad to scream as loud as she could for the sole purpose of strengthening her vocal cords.

But Sasa J has a tough act to follow as she was born in a family of karaoke champions, her dad and her eldest sister has won countless awards and competitions for their vocal talents. So pressure to perform is part and parcel of her everyday life.
 

Achievements And Accolades 

 

Little Sasa J has been drawn to music and creative arts ever since she was a kid, at the innocent age of 12, she was the 2004 champion in the (RSC) Teen Idol Karaoke Competition.

In 2005 she was the champion in the (RSC) Musical & Arts Section Competition.

In 2006 she boldly dawned the title “Master of Ceremonies” (MC) and hosted her grandmother very grand big birthday bash.

In 2009 she played a role in a little Slurpee video competition and displayed potential acting skills.  
"The Slurpee video won a consolation prize".

2010 was when Sasa J came into her own as a singer, in the month of July 2010 she won 1^st runner up for her solo performance and grand champion for her duet at the 2010 Royal Selangor Club Annual Karaoke Competition.
